JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Laborers perform tasks including but not limited to and or involving physical labor at highway, heavy construction projects and excavations sites. Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the underground construction industry. May operate various types of heavy tools, clean and prepare job sites, shoring, dig trenches, erect scaffolding, clean up debris and other waste material from job site. Position requires hand eye coordination, physical strength, lifting, stooping, bending and climbing.

Heavy equipment operators: Various opening for personnel with Experience operating one or more of the following pieces of heavy equipment: loaders, excavators, back hoes, track hoes, skid steers. Minimum of 2 - 5 years experience a must.

Blade/Motor Grader Operator: highly qualified personnel to fine grade subbase, base, asphalt and other materials. Jobsites include roads, parking lots, mass excavation, and building pads. Must be able to set blue tops and read plans. 5 years experience preferred, minimum of 2 required.

Pipe Layers. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:. installing underground utilities such as water, sanitary sewer and other similar utilities and following safety guidelines while working in a trench. Personnel must have ability to accurately utilize the necessary tools required for laying pipe and be familiar working around heavy equipment. Must also possess excellent work ethic and team oriented attitude

Concrete Finishers and Skilled Form Setters: Have experience necessary to perform various tasks related to concrete construction which could include sidewalks, paving, curb & gutter, small structures and slabs. Skills will determine job placement and earning potential.
