We have been in business as an underground utilities Contractor since September 1989 and expanded our work to include street & road construction, concrete, and sitework in 2003. We have won awards for Safety from our federal customers and have been recognized by local municipalities in the Region for superior workmanship and customer service. TTG Utilities Wins 2025 ACI Central Texas Chapter Award for Innovative RCC Paving Project.

TTG Utilities, Inc. is honored to announce that one of our recent projects has been selected as a 2025 ACI Central Texas Chapter Award winner by the American Concrete Institute – Central Texas Chapter. This award recognizes excellence in concrete construction, and our project stood out for its innovative use of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) in a time-critical military/institutional environment. Tasked with the repair and replacement of 9” concrete paving over a 6” lime-stabilized subgrade, our team successfully met the challenge of a 9-day construction window through close collaboration with the U.S. Army and our trusted subcontractor, Rollcon, LLC.


The project not only delivered a durable and efficient solution under tight deadlines, but it also served as a living case study for the long-term performance of RCC. Hosted by the Cement Council of Texas, a symposium showcased both the newly completed work and a nearby RCC installation originally constructed over 40 years ago. Despite decades of use under the weight of heavy military vehicles, the original RCC pavement exhibited minimal maintenance needs, proving its resilience and reliability.


Military engineers from across the United States had the opportunity to witness firsthand the installation of modern RCC and observe the long-term benefits of this construction method. This unique juxtaposition of past and present highlighted RCC as a smart, forward-thinking solution for today’s infrastructure needs.
