Russell (Rusty) Tatum

Project Manager / Estimator

I joined TTG Utilities in May 2009 after graduating with a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. I started out as a field superintendent and in 2016, I stepped into the role of Project Manager and Estimator, joining the management team—a moment that was both humbling and exciting for me.

Over the past 16 years, I’ve grown alongside TTG, building my knowledge in underground utilities, roadway reconstruction, and concrete work. More than just technical skills, I’ve also helped shape a culture here that embraces our core values and mission. I truly believe working at TTG—and with the Peña family—has made me a better person, and I’m proud of the expertise I bring to help move the company forward.

Outside of work, I’m all about family and the outdoors. My wife and I have two beautiful daughters, and we’re always up for an adventure—whether that’s camping, fishing, skiing, hunting, swimming, or hitting up a water park or sporting event. Life’s busy, but we love it that way.
